1. Identify yourself.
Use your Geocaching username from your GC.com Account so we know who we are communicating with!
It MUST be your DISPLAY Name!
You are allowed to change your Display Name if you have a different Account Name from your Geocaching Account.
(Go to the User CP and Select the "My Account Information" Look for "This is the displayed name that people will see.")
When you first Signed Up for and Account on these Forums, you were asked for a "Display Name"
If you Do NOT have a Geocaching Name, Go to geocaching.com and get one. Its FREE!
2. While debate and discussion is Ok, the Admin will NOT tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts!
(Heated debates are best conducted in private or on another forum.)
3. Refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word or short, non-sense posts. (other than in games that call for short posts..)
Multiple and/or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is also not allowed and will be deleted.
4. No Political Advertising, Business Advertising, spamming and/or trolling is allowed!
This includes: using the Forums, Forums Email system and Private message system to spam or solicit other members for the purpose of promoting a Business, or a Political Candidate or Party.
5. We DO NOT ALLOW posts that are sexual in nature or violate Community standards!
6. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
Doing so will result in your account being Deleted!
7. Each member is allowed ONE (1) User Account (Membership).
Registering with multiple accounts will not be allowed!
(Your IP address IS tracked and traced!)
HOWEVER, 2 accounts from the same IP address WILL be allowed at the Admin's discretion.
8. Don't post spoilers about caches.
Let's not ruin the hunt for other cachers.
If a member asks for help, then do it through email or private message.(Hints,however, are acceptable)
9. ALL Photos, Avatars, links and/or Signatures posted to the sitemust be "Family" friendly.
10. This is an English ONLY Forums. (you MUST post in English ONLY!)
11. Posts NOT DIRECTLY related to Geocaching are subject to deletion due to the Nature of the Community as a Geocaching site.
Posts that are NOT Geocaching related will be reviewed by the Admin and allowed/disallowed/deleted at the Admins Discretion.
12. The Granite State Geocachers Community Admin shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate the Community standards.
The Admin reserves the right to remove offensive/non conforming posts, Accounts and ban IP address and/or Users without notice!
* While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
* We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates ANY of the forum rules.
* The Administrators decision is final in all matters.
Your Account Application will be reviewed and you may receive an Email asking for more information before your Account is activated.
This could take up to 24 hours depending on the Admin's workload.
If you do not hear back within 24 hours, please email the Admin and Notify them that your account is awaiting Approval.
You have 90 Days from your Application Date to sign into the Community before it is removed from the Database and your email placed on a Ban List that will not allow you to Sign In or Apply for another Account on the Community.
If, after 90 Days your email is Banned but you wish to re-Loin the Community, you will be required to Contact the Administrator.
